Are the people who answer "cell phones" serious?

With stuff like ABC weapons, landmines, and bloody bombs camouflaged as toys so that kids pick them up, there are people who pick the cell phone as the one invention the world would be better without?

I think people don't think about ABC weapons, landminds and bombs because they don't encounter them regularly (or at all). I mean, if you said them, most people would admit that they are worse than cellular telephones.

The thought occurred to me, and/but I have trouble imagining someone who follows the news even less than I do. ;)
